The 1787 timber barn is part of the historic Pennypacker Mills Estate in Schwenksville, PA. The project began in 2006 with a complete inventory and assessment of the barn’s timber framing. The barn exhibited a series of structural issues that required immediate stabilization. Phase I of the project included the design and construction documents for the barn’s stabilization with minimal impact on the overall appearance of the interior.
